The Art of Observation

Elliot Erwitt made this almost cryptic statement. What does he mean by it? Well I believe what Mr. Erwitt is trying to say is that how you see things and how you compose your shot is what makes photography a great thing. It is not that you are simply taking a picture of a lion, but it is how you are taking the picture of the lion and it is about the art. The world is a photographer's canvas, we are here to observe and make it an art of oberservation.
