The Importance of Manual Focus

A sighting of Bushbuck on the Zambezi River was ruined by Auto Focus. Recently I traveled down to Livingstone and was able to go on a boat cruise and a game drive. On this boat cruise we came across a small pack of Bushbuck. It was a dinner cruise and we were eating when we came across them, I turned on my Auto Focus because I only had one hand to take the pictures of these Bushbuck and I ended up getting photos of the river bank in focus instead of the Bushbuck in focus. Manual sometimes frightens people and we aren't always sure if we can handle being in maual, but it is totally worth it to study up and use the manual settings; that is the only way you will get the desired photo you want. Don't let the above picture be your picture when you come from a game drive or a boat cruise!
